The designers at Serghii Makhno and Vasiliy Butenko have collaborated to complete an intriguing interior for a restaurant in Kiev entitled Twister. The design uses elements of nature creatively to create a calming space that is both modern and comfortable. The two story restaurant features tornado shape balconies and ceiling lamps that imitate falling rain. The attached bar displays walls made up of wooden sticks mimicking that of a bird’s nest. The atmosphere was designed to feel very natural and ensure comfort. I wonder how comfortable those chairs would be to sit in….
