During his trip to the Holi Festival of Colors, San Francisco photographer Thomas Hawk sought to capture an intense moment of joy, celebration and lighthearted fun. True to its name, the crowds at the festival are saturated with an array of brightly bold hues that, in the end, make for a stunning collection of imagery. His portraits create a story, as we the viewers are seemingly transported into the midst of festive celebration filled with a bold, ravishing and energetic fun.
