Japanese artist and designer Makoto Tojiki innovatively uses light as his primary medium of expression. In his latest exhibition, No Shadow, Tojiki manipulates thousands of small hanging lights to create 3D images of a man and animals. Newly constructed sushi restaurant called Tori-Tori in Mexico City was a design collaboration between Japanese architecture firm Rojkind Arquitectos and design workshop Esrawe Studio. Japanese firm SAKO Architects designed this whimsical children’s bookstore called  Poplar Library in Beijing. Entitled Kid’s Republic, the store features two rainbow  ribbon pathways that float over two floors where children are invited to explore the wonderful world of books.
