AlviDesign aims to craft environmentally friendly durable furnishings with the restrictions of using a minimal amount materials. With their latest piece, a chair was built up using silk thread tightened around an oak frame, creating an overall beautifully simplistic functional work of art. The transparent nature of the chair creates a perception of weightlessness allowing users to drift into relaxation.
