By taking the carefree nature of free hand quick sketching, and transforming it into large scaled wire sculptures, David Oliverira’s works successfully create the perception of line drawings that have walked off the page in a 3dimensional manner. Born in Lisbon and having graduated with a degree in Sculpture and a Masters in Artistic Anatomy, Oliveira’s collection showcases pieces all created by painstakingly turning wired pieces until they’ve transformed into intriguing sculptures that all look as though they’ve been drawn up simply with a pen on paper.
