Carolina Fontoura Alzaga

In her new series entitled “Connect,” artist Carolina Fontoura Alzaga has put together some stunningly dramatic large scaled chandeliers that were designed to portray an aesthetic that was once closely associated with the victorian era. Mixed in with a creative DIY designer flair, each piece in her collection was constructed from salvaged bicycle parts. The finished  chandeliers completely transform the individual parts as each design reads as a beautifully high styled display. Working out of  a studio in Los Angeles, the artist has made her works accessible to the public through Etsy. I need one of these in my dining room!
