With the enticing panoramic views of the Rio Mountains as their backdrop, these stunning sculptures, constructed and put together using old plastic bottles, truly become a sight to see as they reflect the suns natural light during the day and glow with their own at night.   Located on the Botafogo Beach, the large scaled works of art were assembled as a feature for the UN Conference of Sustainable Development. When glancing at the feature from afar, visually, the plastic bottles look like nothing more than perfectly styled fish scales, given off a slightly bluish tint due to the existing pigmentation of the bottles. At night, the display completely transforms as the fish are brought to life through the use of projected LED lights. While beckoning guest to come closer, the display aims to inspire users to become more passionate about the importance of recycling and making use of the wasted items so abundantly available around us.
