When it comes to a plane’s decorative facade, these none functioning WWII American military aircrafts have been outfitted above the rest! The Prima Air and Space Museum worked to create a gallery that showcased old military planes that had been converted into lasting works of art. Covering each craft in paint a team of contemporary artist, which include Eric Firestone, Carlo McCormick, Leslie Oliver and Meb Sobie, worked together to reinvent this plane “bone yard.” The result is an extensive gallery of painted planes that make for quite the visual display.
