Combining her career as a graphic artist with her passion for fashion design, artist Lia Griffith successfully creates some of the most stunningly vibrant paper dresses ever! From a young age Lia worked with paper as a favorite medium and ultimately excelled in the world of graphic design. Unlimited by the typical mundane work of a graphic artist, Lia branches out and puts paper to good use. Recycled magazines, Coke boxes and other paper are each meticulously cut and transformed into fabulous ball gowns. I could only imagine that paper cuts are a way of life with this occupation! Griffith has created more than 20 dresses that she shows in galleries and runways. Check out Lia’s papier portfolio!
