Art and fashion collide into an explosion of polka dots! Legendary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama is collaborating with Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton to create a cohesive collection showcasing Kusama’s love for repetitive patterns. The 80-something year old avant garde artist is well renowned for her paintings, sculptures, films and installations that present the viewer with painstaking obsessive patterns that seem to have exploded onto the canvas. The simplistic brilliance of Kusama’s work is truly inspirational. Classically retro polka dots are the basis of her design for the upcoming collab. The first part of the Louis Vuitton and Kusama collection, appropriately titled Infinitely Kusama, consisting of pajamas, trench coats and accessories will hit the LV 461 stores starting July 11 with the second part of the collaboration coming in October.  You won’t want to miss this legendary line!
