Joram Roukes has put together a thought provoking collection of large scaled portraits made to reflect the lifestyle and mind-frame of inner city characters. Building up his oil paintings through the incorporation of  animalistic figures and somewhat sporadically placed graphics, Roukes has succeeded in putting an interesting spin on our views of western society.
