Artist Jason deCaires Taylor has become well known for his incredible underwater installations that can be found in various locations of the coast of Mexico, the Bahamas and even the West Indies. As a youngster, he showed a heavy interest in graffiti art drawing an exceeding amount of inspiration for his designs from nature and the sea. Over the years, his artistic creations began to evolve into more sculptural pieces with his medium of choice being an eco-friendly concrete. Intensely bold, beautiful and visually captivating, Taylor’s collections were designed to grow and eventually become one with the surrounding marine life. Over time, the collections slowly begin to morph as they’re overgrown with sea life becoming a completely new and inspiring work of art.
