The famed Minas Trend Preview Show took place near Sao Paolo, Brazil this year with a focus on sustainability. Standing out not only for her sustainable design, but also for the meticulous creativity behind her work was Brazillian designer Mary Arantes of Mary Designs who featured her line of papier-mâché headpieces. The designs ranged from western cowboy to Egyptian princess, and the accessories to accompany the hats made the line sleek and high-fashion editorial worthy. Each headpiece was completely crafted from newspaper delicately shaped and constructed with papier-mâché. I’m blown away with the quality of Mary Design’s work and presentation!
