Remember the joy finger painting brought when you were a little kid? Getting your hands dirty and creating museum worthy masterpieces (or so your little kid brain thought) was always fun. Well, New York based artist, Judith Braun really does create genius works of art with nothing but her fingers. Titled “Fingerings“, Judith dips her fingers into charcoal to draw directly on the wall, sometimes with both hands simultaneously to the extent of arms’ reach. This technique enables the body to create symmetrical drawings on either side of the body. Amazingly, the whole life-size drawings of landscapes and abstract art are completed solely with Judith’s fingers- no pencils, pens, or paint brushes, just fingers. Maybe your days of painting with your fingers wasn’t so childish after all!
