Why a comb of all things? Who knows, but I love the idea all the same. Created for the city of Roanoke, this 400 pound bike stand is both fun to look at and functionally applicable. The heavy comb was handcrafted and put together using mortis and tenon construction. Used as a stand, one big wiry piece of “hair” weaves through the comb’s teeth for an added touch of detail. It definitely one ups the generic version.
