Seattle sculptor Scott Fife has been exhibiting his larger than life cardboard sculptures around the globe since 1976. Most of his pieces feature well-known iconic figures (whether man or dinosaur!) crafted completely out of cardboard and adhesives.

Below is Nendo‘s  2008 Cabbage Chair design. Fabricated from a roll of pleated paper, its form is slowly revealed as the layers are peeled away. I’m not sure what’s cooler, the chair or the technique used for its construction.
